Plakias Walk 15
This short walk leads you to the Gonatos Caves, on the slopes of Mount Kakomouri at the east end of Plakias Beach. The walk passes a steep cliff, used as a climbing wall (Paligremnos). The views over Plakias Bay are stunning along the whole walk as well as from the caves themselves, especially at sunset.
To get to the caves you pass a short tunnel, so don’t forget to bring a flashlight!
