The Plakias pier used to be the little harbour back when Plakias was only a small fishermen settlement. Nowadays the pier is the starting point for small daily ferries to Preveli Beach, day cruises to Triopetra beach, the pancake rocks from Agios Pavlos, Marmara Beach, Loutro and more. You can also rent your own little motorboat for a day to go fishing or explore the beautiful coastline of Southern Crete.
